"Rotary - People of Action" Guest Speaker: Dr. Ben Clabo, President - Pigeon Forge Rotary Club Networking and Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. with luncheon meeting to follow at 11:30 a.m. Members are encouraged to register for their guests (to avoid non-member fees). Everyone is invited to attend. RSVP/Registration Required.Cost: $15 for members / $25 for non-members RSVP/REGISTRATION by Monday, October 8th at 6 p.m. Meet Dr. Clabo A life-long resident of Sevier County, Benjamin T. Clabo is in his 19th year in education and his 8th year as principal of Pigeon Forge High School. He is also an adjunct professor at The University of Tennessee. Prior to becoming principal, Ben was a high school English teacher and assistant principal. He received his B. S. from Tennessee Technological University, his M. S. from The University of Tennessee, and his Ph. D. from The University of Tennessee. He is a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow, an inaugural trustee for the Forever Parks Foundation, and a David L. Clark Scholar. Ben is a proud member of the Pigeon Forge Rotary Club and is honored to be its 2018-2019 President. He is excited for any opportunity to share with others the great work that Rotary does in both local communities and across the world. The 2018-2019 theme for Rotary International is "Be the Inspiration," and Ben is certainly inspired by the many wonderful and active members of Pigeon Forge Rotary, the Pigeon Forge Hospitality and Tourism Association, and our larger community. Ben is the proud father of two beautiful, intelligent daughters - Adeline Violet (10) and Gwendolyn Faith (7). In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his girls, reading, camping, and exercising.
